Jussi Saarinen new Managing Director of Climber Finland
As of July 1st, Jussi Saarinen will take over the role as Managing Director of Climber Finland. Jussi joined the Climber team in 2015, and has taken care of our customers and led BI projects in his role as BI Manager. We are delighted that Jussi has chosen to take on this challenge, and convinced that he will take our great Climber Finland team further in an excellent way.

Qlik is planning to go public again
January 6th, 2022: Our partner Qlik has announced that it’s planning on becoming a publicly traded company once again, six years after it was acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Qlik has submitted a draft registration with the the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission related to an initial public offering.

Climber merges with Digia Plc
December 15th, 2020: We’re excited to announce that Climber is joining forces with the Finnish Data Utilisation Powerhouse Digia Plc in a deal that closes on January 7. The transaction is a growth enabler, adding the capabilities needed to speed up the journey towards cloud-based BI. Climber will continue to operate as a subsidiary under the same brand.

Vizlib acquires Climber Extensions
Vizlib, the data visualisation library for Qlik Sense, has today announced the acquisition of Climber Extensions. Providing a range of complementary extensions for Qlik Sense, the spin-off of Climber AB will support Vizlib’s vision of making data talk.

The Climber Custom Report Extension is TED accredited!
We are very happy to announce that the Climber Custom Report Extension – the quintessence of self-service – for Qlik Sense has been accredited within the Trusted Extension Developer Program. The TED program, that Qlik released a few months ago, enables developers to create innovative extensions that expand the value of Qlik Sense.
